We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Office Supervisor/ Executive to join our team at Putatan Platinum Hotel.


You will manage the reception or Front Desk office. Thus, as the first point of contact for our customers and visitors, you will play a critical role in creating a welcoming environment and providing excellent customer service.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Handle the front desk and maintain visitor records.
  • Manage administrative chores and organisational tasks.
  • Create welcoming, professional environment for clients and customers.
  • Greeting and welcoming client, customers and visitors courteously and professionally.
  • Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff member/ department.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Taking care of general everyday tasks; scheduling appointments, organising files and maintaining office supplies.
  • Able to arrange / perform job rotating shift.
  • Work closely with other departments to achieve Guest's satisfaction rate.
  • Perform cashiering duties; collect payments by accepting cash or charge payments from customers.
  • Process Guest check in and check out.
  • Take ownership of problems and handle first level of Guest's complaint from a start to an end.
  • Able and willing to work on night shift, weekend or during Public holiday.
  • To prepare or generated daily & monthly reports of room for management
  • Able to train new reception staff
  • Experience in handling OTA ( Agoda, Booking.com, tripadvisor etc)


Required Skills & Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's / Diploma in Hospitality and Hotel Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and great organisational capabalities.
  • Competency in managing time and solving everyday problems.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Fluent in English both written & verbal.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in hotel and / or service apartment.
  • Proficiency in using computers, others office equipment and familiar with hotel's software will be an advantage.
  • Positive attitude and willing to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking ability.
  • Willing to work with all level of staff and management.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
