Retail Operations Executive to support our international expansion and the opening of new retail stores overseas. This is a key role suited for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, and is comfortable managing various aspects of operations from the ground up.


Role Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Operations Executive to oversee and streamline daily operations across our HQ, eCommerce and retail channels. You’ll play a key role in driving operational efficiency and enabling growth in a fast-moving environment.


What You’ll Do:


Store Setup & Launch


  • Coordinate the end-to-end setup of new retail stores - including renovations, fixtures, merchandising, and logistics.
  • Liaise with contractors, landlords, and vendors to ensure timely store openings.
  • Work closely with HQ and local teams to ensure brand consistency and compliance.


Daily Operations & Management


  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new stores.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of store staff
  • Monitor daily store operations, sales performance, inventory, and staffing levels
  • Provide operational support to frontline teams to ensure smooth in-store experiences


Inventory & Supply Chain


  • Oversee stock planning and replenishment cycles
  • Ensure accurate inventory management across all stores
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams for timely stock deliveries


Customer Experience & Compliance


  • Ensure stores meet visual merchandising and customer service standards
  • Monitor feedback and support resolution of customer or operational issues
  • Enforce adherence to health, safety, and local regulatory requirements


Cross-functional Support


  • Collaborate with Marketing, HR, Finance, and Product teams to support retail initiatives
  • Provide regular reporting on KPIs, operational challenges, and opportunities
  • Act as the key liaison between overseas retail teams and HQ


Requirements


  • Min. 2-3 years of experience in retail operations or store management
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; can juggle multiple tasks across functions
  • Willingness to be hands-on and travel regularly within the assigned region
  • Experience in store openings or regional retail setup is highly preferred
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and a startup environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-culturally


Bonus If You Have:


  • Experience setting up new systems or launching new stores/pop-ups
  • Background in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer products
  • Knowledge of regional logistics (e.g., Ninja Van, J&T, Janio in SEA)


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
