The successful candidate will lead a small technical team, responsible for implementing regional configurations for our Policy Management System and supporting minor eCommerce integration enhancements. The role involves mentoring, delivery oversight, and coordination with APAC stakeholders, without direct architectural or delivery autonomy.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional technical team (engineers and testers)
- Collaborate with ANZ Architecture, PMO, and QA teams to represent progress, risks, and blockers.
- Ensure the implementation of Policy Management System configurations and eCommerce adaptations aligns with centrally defined specs.
- Guide the team in best practices for code quality, testing, and deployments.
- Support integration into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Promote a strong delivery culture and continuous improvement mindset within the team
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong Java and Spring Boot background
- Proficiency in Jenkins for Continuous Integration/Deployment
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman, etc.)
- Familiarity with AWS environments and deployment patterns
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Proficient in version control using GIT
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Strong team leadership and mentoring abilities
- Effective collaboration across time zones and cultures
- Stakeholder management and proactive issue escalation
