Role: Director of Technical Delivery

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Salary range: RM 17,000 to RM 23,000

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Program Leadership

• Own the delivery of large-scale automation & data exchange programs (APIs, microservices, RPA, cloud integration).
  
• Define technical roadmaps, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks across cross-functional teams.
  
• Ensure projects meet quality, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, enterprise architecture principles).
  

2. Solution Design & Architecture

• Lead architecture reviews for integration/automation solutions (e.g., MuleSoft, IBM App Connect, UiPath).
  
• Advise on emerging technologies (AI/ML-driven automation, hybrid cloud deployments).
  
• Enforce coding standards, DevOps practices (CI/CD), and performance tuning.
  

3. Team Mentorship & Governance

• Mentor developers and leads through technical guidance and code reviews.
  
• Establish best practices for documentation, testing, and scalability.
  
• Conduct performance evaluations and upskill teams on new tools/methodologies.
  

4. Stakeholder Alignment

• Translate business requirements into technical action plans for engineering teams.
  
• Report progress to C-level stakeholders, balancing speed vs. technical debt.
  

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise (Non-Negotiable)

✅ 15+ years in IT, with 5+ years in a leadership role (TPM, Delivery Lead, or Solution Architect).

✅ Deep hands-on experience in:

• Integration platforms: MuleSoft, IBM App Connect, Dell Boomi, or similar.
  
• Automation tools: UiPath, Blue Prism, Selenium, or equivalent.
  
• APIs/microservices: REST, MQ, caching, and performance optimization.
  
• Cloud/DevOps: AWS/Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
  

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven ability to lead technical teams (conflict resolution, delegation, Agile/Scrum).
  

• Strategic mindset - balance innovation with operational stability.
  

• Exceptional communication - simplify complex tech for non-technical stakeholders.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Certifications: TOGAF, PMP, or RPA developer certs (e.g., UiPath Advanced).
  
• Experience with AI/ML-driven automation or financial systems integration.
