Our client, an International Infrastructure Engineering Consultancy is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering and Design Manager to lead their KL-based engineering team in supporting high-impact infrastructure projects across Australia.
Based in their modern office in Mid Valley, you’ll manage a skilled team of engineers who deliver design, documentation, and technical support for transmission and distribution projects. You’ll be the key link between their Malaysian engineering function and Australian project teams-ensuring seamless collaboration, high-quality outputs, and timely delivery.
- Lead and mentor a growing team of Electrical Engineers and Designers.
- Coordinate project deliverables to meet client expectations and Australian standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, delivery, and project management.
- Manage workflows, resource allocation, and team performance.
- Drive a culture of quality, innovation, and accountability.
- Electrical Engineering degree (preferable) with at least 15 years� experience (including 2+ in a leadership role).
- Strong background in infrastructure, power systems, or transmission projects.
- Experience managing teams delivering for international clients (preferably Australia).
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient with engineering software tools and quality assurance systems.
- Work on industry-leading Australian energy infrastructure projects.
