[MY] Senior/Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable)

Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a major role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far-reaching impact on the company's future.

This role is based in

• Ensure that timelines and quality meet the agreed service levels and targets.
  
• Ensure proficiency and effectiveness in managing day to day operations of AR accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate preparation of statutory and monthly management reporting for consolidation.
  
• Maintain meticulous financial records, actively contributing to monthly closing activities, including bank reconciliation and accrual schedules, among other tasks.
  
• Extract data from various external stakeholders' portals (e.g., insurers, government agencies) to allocate payments and address discrepancies effectively.
  
• Work collaboratively with the clinic operations team to handle revenue and accounts receivables postings for clinics.
  
• Liaise with both internal and external customers to manage and control all receivables in a timely and effective manner.
  
• Contributes to the safeguarding of company assets through the maintenance of appropriate controls while supporting the Accountant in the determination of appropriate accounting treatment for various situations.
  
• Manage, improve & develop financial accounts procedures and administration in compliance with company�s policies.
  
• Identify, discuss and suggest solutions in consultation with the management for continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of operation.
  
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned, as appropriate to support the clinic's financial operations and objectives.
  

• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business Administration or ACCA graduate with minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
  
• Prior experience in the Big 4 and/or healthcare industry will be an added advantage
  
• CA or CPA preferred
  
• Knowledgeable and experienced in accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, audit and taxation
  
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software preferably in Oracle NetSuite and MS office / G-suite applications
  
• Meticulous, independent, proactive, responsible, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
  
• Unquestioned integrity and high standards in the work you do
  
• A good team player with high level of maturity and independence
  
• Proficient in oral and written English and Malay language. Additional languages are a bonus.
  
• A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
