We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable
Tax talent to join our tax expert team. This role mainly requires the candidate to provide timely and accurate responses to clients’ tax-related inquiries, including SST, income tax, stamp duty, and other relevant tax matters. Ideal candidates should have solid experience in tax compliance and technical, and a passion for ongoing tax research.- Manage questions from clients and reply in desired time. Interpret and apply current tax laws, guidelines, and rulings to client-specific scenarios, including:
- Income Tax (individual and corporate)
- Real Property Gains Tax (RPGT)
- Sales & Services Tax (SST)
- Transfer pricing
- E-invoicing
- Analyze updates in direct (e.g., Income Tax) and indirect (e.g., Sales & Services Tax) tax legislation and prepare technical circulars or articles for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in preparing presentation slides as and when necessary.
- Assist in verifying the accuracy of answer provided (technical)
- Provide in-depth, technical tax advice in response to inquiries from colleagues and clients.
- Liaise professionally with the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) and the Royal Malaysian Customs Department on various tax matters.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a major in Taxation preferred.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or equivalent are an added advantage.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in tax-related roles.
- Strong interest in tax research and keeping up with regulatory changes.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in tax compliance and advisory.
- Capable of setting clear directions and goals for junior staff or team members.
- Possess coaching and team development skills to support internal growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
