To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions, as relevant and required by the Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Management System (QESHMS).
To carry out taking-off quantities.
To assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.
To assist the Contracts Manager in preparing project budgets.
To assist the Contracts Manager in the preparation of Materials Schedule.
To carry out sourcing, calling, evaluating quotations and tenders for supply of materials and services.
To prepare cost estimates, quotations for new work items.
To measure work done at site and prepare interim claims.
To evaluate sub-contractors work done and prepare claim certificates.
To assist the set up of Management Information System.
To assist the planning Sub-Department to prepare records for various projects.
To carry out the preparation and submission of Contractual Claims, Variations, etc.
To assist the preparation of the project final account.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior.
Requirements:
Possess Degree in Quantity Surveying/Diploma in Building Technology or Diploma/Certificate in other related disciplines.
Minimum 3 - 5 years� working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Have good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices.
Must be a team player, committed and result-oriented.
Must have the ability and personality to drive and motivate team to achieve common goals.
Exposure in turnkey projects will be an added advantage.
Preferably to be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications.
