Quality Control Technician / Inspector

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to oversee and ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing parts in accordance with company standards. The ideal candidate will be skilled in interpreting technical drawings, operating measurement equipment, and collaborating with suppliers to address quality issues.

• Interpret technical drawings accurately, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols.
  
• Operate and perform measurements using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other precision tools.
  
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and document results as needed.
  

• Inspect incoming and outgoing parts following AQL (Acceptance Quality Limit) standards.
  
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and submit documentation to QC Administration.
  
• Conduct buy-off inspections at supplier sites when required.
  

• Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  
• Monitor and analyze rejected parts or products, identifying root causes and initiating improvement measures.
  

• Assist QC Engineer in day-to-day activities and special projects.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or Supervisor.
  

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  
• Experience with CMM operation and understanding of GD&T is required.
  
• Familiar with AQL sampling methods and quality reporting standards.
  
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good communication skills for supplier interaction and internal coordination.
  

• Knowledge of ISO quality standards.
  
• Familiarity with quality improvement tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagram).
  
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments is a plus.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
