- Conduct procurement and sourcing activities for all enquiry.
- Grow the company by creating new suppliers or vendors.
- Request from vendors or suppliers for discount on a consistent basis.
- Gather information on market demand, competition, and latest technologies.
- Manage inventory of materials and consumables to support production planning process
- Coordinate the delivery of purchased parts and consigned materials to the facility to support the production schedule
- Initiate corrective actions on supplier delivery issues
- Manage supplier transition of incoming materials
- Coordinate effectively with local logistics suppliers for consigned materials and local shipments
- Coordinate with shipping lanes for inbound and outbound freight
- Ensure compliance to all LMW requirements.
- Ensure all purchase is approved within mandated guidelines
- Process the purchase orders by liaising with suppliers or principals
- Sourcing locally and overseas for new goods not supplied by regular principals/suppliers
- Cost the goods purchased by incorporating freight and ensure that all costs incurred in operating dept are kept within control
- Develop and achieve yearly cost savings goals
- Undertake any duties as assigned from time to time
- Adherence to company QHSE Policy
- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building effective supplier relationships.
- Mindset: Proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Excellent team player who can also work independently and take initiative when needed.
