Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of all critical infrastructure systems in the data centre, ensuring continuous uptime, system reliability, and safety.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
- Monitor data centre infrastructure including power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear), cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH units), and BMS.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
- Maintain daily logs, reports, and maintenance records.
- Perform physical inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to safety standards and company protocols at all times.
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in data centre or critical facilities maintenance.
- Knowledge of UPS systems, generators, chillers, and switchgear.
- Ability to read technical drawings and operation manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts and respond to after-hours emergencies.
