A growing manufacturing company based in Senai, Johor, specializing in precision machining, metal surface treatment, and semiconductor component production. Also includes equipment fabrication, hygienic materials manufacturing, and technical import/export services.
- Develop and optimize surface treatment processes such as electro-polishing and chemical washing for stainless steel components.
- Select appropriate chemicals, tools, and techniques to achieve desired surface finishes.
- Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to integrate new surface treatment methods into production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce waste, and improve surface quality.
- Monitor process control systems to ensure consistent and repeatable surface treatment outcomes.
- Operate and maintain surface treatment equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Analyze production data to identify root causes of deviations and implement corrective measures.
- Establish and uphold surface quality standards; support quality assurance in resolving non-conformities.
- Prepare technical documentation, including SOPs and reports related to surface treatment processes.
- Ensure all surface treatment operations comply with environmental and workplace safety regulations.
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Surface finishing, Electro-polishing, Industrial chemical washing.
- Familiar with various surface treatment techniques and equipment.
- Solid understanding of mechanical drawings and industrial process flow.
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
