Job Description - Associate Product Manager

The Role

We are looking for a candidate who will support the strategic direction of product (app) positioning and development and work closely with the marketing, engineering, and other stakeholder(s).

• Act as the primary point of contact for businesses to request or share ideas for product capabilities & features
  
• Engage business stakeholders to collaborate and co-create product capabilities & features
  
• Evaluate business value of new capabilities in collaboration with business & strategy team to recommend prioritization
  
• Deï¬ne and document comprehensive business requirements using best practices, e.g., UML
  
• Conduct end-to-end analysis of user journey, back-end processes, and operational requirements for product capabilities to identify and document improvements/enhancements.
  
• Lead the implementation and customer launch of product roadmap, working closely with the engineering team
  
• Deï¬ne clear metrics of success measurement for all new product capabilities for the purpose of tracking performance
  
• Conduct periodic analysis of capabilities & feature success post-launch to recommend improvements and increase success
  
• Conduct continuous market research to understand the competitor landscape, market needs, and customer sentiment.
  
• Continuously reï¬ne product offering & capabilities roadmap based on research ï¬ndings to ensure effort invested in product development yields highest adoption and proï¬tability
  
• Lead operational aspects of product, including L3 support, executing processes, reporting, conï¬guring product launches, and supporting any ad hoc requests
  
• Deï¬ne test scenarios and test cases, and conduct comprehensive testing of new capabilities & features to be rolled out
  
• Collaborate closely with Compliance & Legal to ensure all product capabilities & features are 100% in compliance with regulatory & legal requirements
  
• Own and drive the release plan end-to-end from initiation, tracking all the way to customer launch.
  

• Academic qualiï¬cation in the ï¬eld of business analysis, information technology, computer science, data & analytics, or related ï¬elds
  
• Experienced in working in a high-paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt swiftly to shifts in priorities and directions
  
• Experienced in user journey design & functional design of mobile application and back-ofï¬ce tools
  
• Experienced in working closely with the engineering team in delivering product requirements
  
• Experienced in translating raw business requirements into modular & conï¬gurable functional design
  
• Experienced in slicing business requirements into epics and user stories, and conducting discovery with the engineering team to size the effort, line up and prioritize development
  
• Strong communication & articulation skills to be able to effectively communicate product capabilities & features without gap to the engineering team
  
• Experienced in Agile/Scaled Agile Framework methodology & tools
  
• Strong skills in data query & analysis
  
• Experienced in Design Thinking methodology and empathic design philosophy
  
• Experience in Google BigQuery is advantageous
  
• Experience & knowledge in retail ï¬nancial services, especially digital retail wealth industry, are advantageous
  

Ideal candidates would be those who have worked as a product manager or product owner in leading digital wealth mobile apps, products, and services with experience in owning end-to-end requirements deï¬nition, all the way to product design, build, test, and market launch.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
