DESIGNER ASSISTANT (Draughtsman)

We are looking for a Designer Assistant (Draughtsman) based in

• Assist packaging designers in preparing die-line drawings and carton layouts.
  
• Modify and update structural designs based on customer requirements and production capabilities.
  
• To generate full set of drawing using AutoCAD (or BrisCAD) for the new models.
  
• Ensure designs meet FEFCO standards, strength requirements, and functionality.
  
• Coordinate with sales and production teams to clarify design specifications.
  
• To assist Sales Personnel to demonstrate prototype sample packing at the customer�s location as and when necessary
  
• Any other duties as assigned by the management from time to time
  

• Operate sample cutter machine to produce carton samples.
  
• Set up cutting parameters according to design files and board specifications.
  
• Inspect samples to ensure dimensional accuracy, creasing quality, and structural strength.
  
• Maintain the sample cutter machine in good condition and perform basic troubleshooting.
  
• Organize and maintain design and sample archives for future reference.
  
• Support production teams during new product development or trial runs.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during machine operation.
  
• Maintain quality and accuracy in all designs and samples produced.
  

• Candidate must possess at least Certificate /Diploma in related fields (eg; packaging deisgn , mechanical drawing. drafting).
  
• Familiarity with CAD Software (eg; AutoCAD, BriskCAD, ArtiosCAD or equivalent)
  
• Fresh graduate are welcomed to apply
  
• Attenttion to detail and ability to follow instructions
  
• Experience in operating sample cutter machines is an advantage (training will be provided).
