As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy for lyf hotel, identifying new business opportunities, building lasting relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall profitability of the hotel. You will work closely with senior management and other hotel departments to ensure that the hotel's sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.


Major duties & responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution:


You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that align with the overall goals of the hotel. This includes identifying target markets, creating sales plans to engage potential clients, and converting leads into actual business. By working closely with the marketing and operations teams, you will ensure these strategies are executed effectively to drive bookings, maximize revenue, and enhance the hotel’s brand presence in the market.


Client Relationship Management:


A key part of your role will be managing relationships with key clients such as corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and long-term stay guests. Building and nurturing strong relationships is crucial for ensuring repeat business and expanding the hotel’s client base. You will regularly check in with clients to understand their needs, offer tailored solutions, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.


Market Research:


Staying on top of industry trends and understanding the competitive landscape will be critical to your success. You will need to continuously monitor competitor pricing, promotional offers, and new market opportunities. You will analyze market data to identify potential business opportunities, whether it’s targeting new customer segments or creating innovative promotional campaigns.


Team Collaboration:


Collaboration across departments is essential. As Sales Manager, you will need to coordinate closely with the Operations and Marketing teams to create and implement promotional campaigns or special events that support your sales goals.


Reporting & Analytics:


To measure and report on the success of your sales initiatives, you will provide regular reports on sales performance, booking trends, and market analysis. You will track the effectiveness of different sales strategies, understand which methods yield the best results, and adjust your approach accordingly.


Job Requirement


You are:


  • A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
