Senior Software Development Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Project Manager with a strong background in project management, particularly within the cards and payments sector of the banking industry. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing software development projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high quality standards. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively handle client relationships, particularly in Malaysia.

â— Lead and manage software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

â— Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these metrics.

â— Coordinate with cross functional teams, including developers, testers, and stakeholders, to ensure project success.

â— Implement best practices in project management and software development methodologies.

â— Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and clients.

â— Manage client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

â— Oversee testing processes to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards.

â— Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.

â— Facilitate communication between technical teams and non technical stakeholders.

â— Strong project management skills with a focus on software development.

â— Extensive experience in the cards and payments domain within the banking sector.

â— Proven experience in software testing methodologies and practices.

â— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

â— Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

â— Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

â— Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

â— Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and best practices.

â— Experience in leading teams in a multicultural environment.

â— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

â— Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

â— 6-9 years of experience in project management within software development, specifically in the banking and payments industry.

â— Proven track record of successful project delivery and client management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
